When you enter the term Jalapeno Poppers into Google, you get almost 200,000 results! That is quite a lot of people writing about / making stuffed chillies if you ask me. But who could blame them? I come from a family of spicy food lovers. And I really mean LOVERS! My older brother has been known to drink Tabasco sauce straight from the bottle. My younger brother is famous for emptying half a bottle of VERY hot chilli sauce onto a single slice of bread, topping it with cheese and eating it ...

Don't be put off by the 8 hour preparation and 8 hour cooking times, this is something special for you to try your hand at. It's not complicated at all as you don't really have to be around for the prep or cooking. Simply soak the chic peas in water overnight and then mix everything together and pop into the oven for a slow cook for 8 hours. You might want to slow cook some lamb alongside this dish, they would go fantastically well together.

Sometimes you see a dish and you go "Wow". This is one of them, it draws you in saying make me.
If you are looking for a great way to serve up your veg, this is it. Diane uses such a robust array of herbs that you will hardly need any salt for seasoning.
When it comes to the mixed greens this recipe goes with Swiss chard and spinach but you can use whatever you have in the fridge or is in season at your local supermarket.

I've really enjoyed Diane's Greek vegetable dishes over the past couple of weeks, This is another stunner as she brings together courgettes, I refuse to call them zucchini, potatoes, every man's favourite and a mixture of feta & ricotta cheese.

This is great for braai days and midweek family dinners.

Here is a cool veggie braai idea, it is not entirely vegetarian due to the anchovies in the salsa verde but you can always leave them out.

This is always a great way to serve the vegetables at a braai.
