Here is a very new way for you to cook salmon, on a board of cedar wood in the oven. Just the thought of it makes my nostrils twitch trying to pick up the scent. All I need now is to find some cedar wood. Does anybody know where? The maple glaze will still come in handy with or without the cedar wood.

This reminds me of Granny Lenton's Lemon Squash (will definitely make some soon and post on GGS), where you would add a couple of teaspoons of citric acid & one of tartaric acid to the sugary lemon concentrate, sans the strawberries, and it would keep for weeks ... adding iced water as needed.

 

It is a natural, old fashioned alternative to the highly toxic cola's and other cool drinks that are out there on the market.  To zing it up a bit, mix soda water instead
