Cameron Whitlie stepped up to the plate with a Loin of Pork with Watermelon and Spicy Thai Dressing recipe for the first televised round of MasterChef SA. Cameron hails from Durban and showed his experience by cutting down the cooking time for a variety of his ingredients. He cut the pork into medallions as opposed to trying to cook the whole thing, thus reducing his cooking time.
He likes pounding things a lot.
Overall his mixture of sweet, spicy and hot was enough to get an apron.
