A Rhode Island man has set a new world record with the first pumpkin ever to weigh more than a ton. The pumpkin grown by Ron Wallace of Rhode Island, came in at 1 ton guaranteeing him first place in the competition and a $5,500 prize for first place plus $10,000 for breaking the one-ton mark. The Guinness World Record for heaviest pumpkin is 821kg's  set by Chris Stevens of New Richmond in October 2010. How many pumpkin pies could you make with this monster? ...
